This free annual virtual conference is led by senior emergency medicine consultants and professors from around the world, aiming to advance emergency medicine practice globally.

The conference also provides an opportunity for abstract submission and publication.


This year's conference will have the themes of

There will be a focus on "The role of Emergency Medicine in War Zones" using real-life experience.

This conference offers free registration to all practicing physicians (all grades), Nurse Practitioners, Advanced Clinical Practitioners (ACPs), Physician Associates (PAs), and medical students interested in Emergency Medicine or related specialties such as Acute Medicine, Critical Care, and Pre-hospital Medicine.

    • This is an excellent opportunity, especially for Medical Students and Foundation Year doctors, to gain valuable experience in organizing medical conferences by joining our organizing committee.


     Key Details:

    • Role: As an ambassador, your main responsibility will be to promote the conference within your organization. You’ll have direct access to the organizing committee, ensuring you are fully supported in your role.
    • Recognition: Ambassadors will have their names featured on the conference website and will receive a participation certificate upon the conference’s conclusion.
    • How to Apply:        If you’re interested, Apply hereSuccessful applicants will be notified via email within one week of their application.

    "Abstract Submission"

    We welcome abstract submissions from practicing physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Advanced Clinical Practitioners (ACPs), Physician associates (PAs), and medical students interested in Emergency Medicine, or related specialties like Acute Medicine, Critical Care Medicine, and Pre-hospital Medicine. 

    Each submitted abstract will be reviewed by at least two scientific committee members. 

    Abstract submission is FREE of charge. The maximum word count is 400 words.

    • Abstract categories:

    1. Case report.

    2. Original research.

    3. Quality improvement project.

    • Abstract types:

     1) E-posters (On the 9th of July):  

    All accepted E- posters will be exhibited on the conference website page and abstracts will be published on the conference website page in the abstract booklet.

     2) Oral presentations (On the 10th of July):  

    The top-scoring abstract will be chosen for online virtual oral presentation as part of the conference's main program.

    • Important dates:

    1. Call for abstract: From 10th April to 1st of June 2024.

    2. Review of abstracts by scientific committee: From 1st of June to 14th June 2024.

    3. Announcement of accepted abstracts: On the 15th of June 2024.

    4. Submission of E-posters: From the 20th of June to the 1st of July 2024.

    5. Exhibition of virtual E-posters on the conference website page: On the 9th of July 2024.

    6. The actual conference and accepted oral presentations: On the 10th of July 2024. Please make sure you carefully read the "EPIC25 Abstract Submission Rules and Copyright Policy"

    • The conference does NOT offer CME or CPD points.
    • The conference will be hosted by From Zero to Hero Academy Website.
    • All members of the Advisory Board, Organizational, and Scientific committees operate on a volunteer basis with no reimbursement or compensation.
